Freight is quoted against the port you nominate. Where a project requires conformity documentation under a local scheme, tell us at enquiry stage and we confirm what the mill can issue for that specification.
Specification notes
In coastal and near-shore sites, exterior aluminium is normally specified with a PVDF (fluorocarbon) coating rather than PE, and fixings and suspension components are selected for corrosion resistance. For interiors it makes little difference; for facades and canopies it is the difference between a finish that holds and one that chalks.
High surface temperatures and wide day-to-night swings are why long runs are detailed with movement in mind — the suspension grid, baffle spacing and panel fixing method are agreed so the system can expand and contract without rattling or bowing.
Facade and enclosed-space projects in the Gulf commonly specify a fire-rated mineral core rather than standard polyethylene. Tell us the grade the project requires; test reports are supplied on request with the order documents.
Ceiling and cladding surfaces are chosen with cleaning in mind — closed-face tiles and smooth coated panels hold less dust than deep open profiles, and colours are confirmed against a physical chart because sand load and daylight both shift how a colour reads on site.
