Product line · Kinetic aluminium facade
Wind-driven aluminium flap facade: hundreds of individually pivoting panels that turn as air passes the building. No motors, no power, no controls — the elevation ripples like water and reads differently through the day. Supplied as a complete system: flaps, axles, carrier frame and fixings, engineered to your facade drawing.
Each flap is a light aluminium panel carried on a horizontal axle. Moving air turns it; because the flaps across the elevation meet the same gust at slightly different moments, the movement travels across the wall as a wave.
The wind is the actuator. There are no motors, sensors or control cabinets to power, program or service — useful where a powered kinetic system would be hard to maintain or would have to be isolated.
Flaps, axles, carrier brackets and the sub-frame are engineered as one package and fixed back to your structural opening. We quote from your elevation drawing, not from a catalogue grid.
The same coating line as our ceiling and facade panels, so a kinetic elevation and the soffits behind it can be delivered in one matched finish.
| Item | Options |

| Flap size | Made to order — state the drawn size, spacing and edge profile when requesting a quote |
| Edge profile | Straight edge / bevel edge |
| Finish | PVDF · Powder coating · Anodized (incl. copper / bronze) · Wood-grain (incl. Italian outdoor weather-resistant) · Stone-grain · Mill finish |
| Fixing | Carrier frame and axle system supplied with the panels and fixed back to your structure |
| Engineering | Axle spacing and restraint set against the wind loading requirement of your structural engineer |
Sizes and finishes are made to order. Nothing on this page is a catalogue dimension — the system is engineered against your elevation and your local wind load.
Send the drawing and we return a firm price against it.
No. The panels move on their axles under the wind alone. There is no motor, sensor or control cabinet — that is the main reason specifiers choose this over a powered kinetic facade.
In most cases yes, subject to a review of your structure and the wind load at the opening. We need the elevation and the structural details to confirm.
Periodic visual inspection of the axles and fixings and normal cleaning of the coating. There are no moving parts to power, and no consumables.
Yes. Mixing a mill-finish or anodized flap with a PVDF or wood-grain soffit on the same elevation is common and is quoted as one package.
No. The water-ripple panel is a fixed panel with a rippled surface. This system is the moving version — the panels themselves turn in the wind.
We quote the kinetic facade as a complete system against your drawing — flaps, axles, frame and fixings.
